Experience and Requirements: Electrical Supervisor
- Must have strong experience with Project Management, Quality, Supervision, Managing Profitability, Supply/Material Management, and Estimating.
- Must possess strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands (sometimes conflicting and/or challenging) of internal and external customers.
- Must be able to sit and /or stand for long periods of time. Must be unafraid of heights.
- Training and Development: Provide training to team members on new equipment, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that all electrical work complies with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Performance Monitoring: Evaluate the performance of electricians, provide feedback, and implement improvement plans when necessary.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with other supervisors and managers to ensure that electrical work aligns with overall project timelines and objectives.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Bid Preparation: Develop and submit bids for new projects, ensuring that all costs are accurately represented and competitive.
- Project Scope Definition: Define the scope of electrical work required for projects and develop accurate estimates based on project specifications.
- Material Takeoffs: Conduct material takeoffs from drawings and specifications to ensure accurate cost estimations.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track actual costs against estimates, and report any discrepancies.
