Job Description: Laborer

The laborer is responsible for the manufacturing (batching, labeling, packaging, etc.) of all products in the Tapes Department at the Blawnox Pittsburgh Facility. This is a hands-on position requiring daily on-line participation for all processes. This position reports to the department supervisor and plant manager as needed. 

• Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand batch formulas.
• Ability to learn and use JDE and DSI Trans collector for doing inventory.
• Excellent communication skills and practices, verbal and written.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Job Requirements: Laborer

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Mathematical ability required. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to perform work safely and maintain a safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
