District Sales Manager

Job Description: District Sales Manager
- Assess customers’ individual or business needs
- Source and develop client referrals
- Ability to identify decision makers within current and prospective accounts to obtain open positions.
- Generate and follow-up on sales leads to help increase market share.
- Achieve sales goals in territory through cold/warm calls, appointment setting, and client visits.
- Negotiate bill rates and other terms to effectively close business.
- Manage sales territory to increase revenue.
- Develop and foster long-term relationships with decision makers within the territory to ensure long-term, sustained growth.
- Motivate, encourage, support, entertain and develop existing team.
- Attend after hours networking events to recruit agents and clients.
- Generate new business opportunities by researching local markets, finding and calling prospects
- Prospecting clients and referral sources through traditional channels.
- Performing outbound calls.
- Analyzing prospect needs and interests to determine which products best suit their business.
- Managing and updating a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.
- Developing networking relationships to drive revenue.
- Attending classes and seminars to build relationships and continued industry education.
Job Requirements
- Previous sales in retail or business to business
- Excellent spoken & written communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Closing skills
- 4 Year College Degree
- Desire to grow and advance professionally
- Solid MS Office skills; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
